Kate & Jeremy's Wedding at Brooklyn Winery
Kate and Jeremy’s March wedding at Brooklyn Winery feels like a fond distant memory, though just a couple weeks ago, of life pre Covid-19 when unbridled gatherings were legal and healthy.
The looming fate that this wedding would be the last of its kind for the foreseeable future gave weight to the presence of family and friends and their purpose to honor Kate and Jeremy’s union during the uncertainty and awareness that life may be different in the days, weeks, and months ahead.
Happy shades of yellows, oranges, and pinks were worn by the bridesmaids and Lady Pruner created a variety of flower arrangements with an assortment of blooms and creative touches. Lady Pruner strung flowers delicately as a ceremony backdrop giving a splash of Spring to the space.
Kate arrived outside of Brooklyn Winery in style all set for her first look. K was stunning in a long sleek white gown from Lovely Bride, designed by Alexandra Grecco and hair and makeup were crafted by the team at Bisou Beauty. After the first look K & J’s bevy of bridesmaids and groomsmen gathered for photos and brought great energy to cheer on and support this union.
The Brooklyn Winery’s interior of reclaimed wood and dim romantic lighting alongside fermentation barrels, and wine tanks give the sophistication of a winery while maintaining an inviting Brooklyn bar feel. The winery has an incredible team who seamlessly orchestrated all the behind the scenes setup and catering.
After dinner the talented DJ Tevis directed guests to the dance floor as K&J kicked off their amped up first dance to ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ by Whitney Houston as the crowd joined in. A perfect way to get everyone on their feet.
Kate, Jeremy and most likely all attendees will have this wedding’s memory to look back on and recall how special the presence of our friends and family coming together to celebrate can be and we can all look forward to a time when once again we can create these happy gatherings.
